    Facebook planning to charge for Live Streams

    Social Networking giant Facebook has come up with the new idea of charging people who wish to access the Facebook Live Streams. Facebook has claimed that they adopt this idea in order to uplift small scales businesses and creators to boost their services. According to the official post, they have announced the news where the users will be able to mark Facebook Events as online only, and with integration with Facebook Live, they will be able to broadcast to their guests. Facebook live videos could include anything from online performances to classes to conferences, with an option of the content creator to mark their event as ‘online only’.

    However, Facebook has not revealed other related details about the monetization of live stream. According to company, they are working on making it easier for users to access the live video where a feature will be included as an option to listen to the live steam as audio-only. Pages could share a toll-free number that will let listeners to listen the audio through any telephone. Facebook has not mentioned that when will they start charging the users and other pieces of information are yet to be revealed.
