Twin brothers (Luv Panthi and Kush Panthi ) from Butwal have invented a Nurse Robot named “GO CORONA” with the aim of being a helping hand in hospital sectors. They have claimed robot could be used as an alternative to human manpower in Corona Special Hospital by acting a means of transporter for food, medicine, water, and other necessary items and reducing the risk of getting in contact with the patients.
They handover the robot to Honorable Minister Sudarsan Baral on a ceremony on Saturday. Twin Brothers have claimed to use Copper, Plastic, and Plywood while creating the body of the Robot to reduce the contamination of the virus. It cost them around 70 thousand rupees to build the prototype. Speaking in the ceremony Minister Sudarsan Baral has said the Province 5 government would be bearing all the cost and would be motivating such young talents to achieve greatness in the future.
The robot is 4 feet tall, which is equipped with an Ultrasound Logitech 12 Mp Camera. It has been programmed to be controlled by an android application. The robot has got a 12 voltage battery inside its frame which can receive the command signal range up to a kilometer. There is no need to have a connection with the internet to give a command from android application to robot.
The twin brothers are reading in class-11, who have already built other robots at such a young age. They have also built the sanitizer tunnel in the Tiloattma Municipality gate recently. They have also built another robot who could snap photos and share them to social media.
